I really enjoyed taking the Canadian Medical Sales Core Course. The course is really well structured, and the learning objectives are clearly defined. The course has 9 different modules that range from the diverse medical specialties to different sales strategies to succeed in the sales field. It’s a very practical course where I learned a lot, especially about the healthcare system and how the course breaks down on how to reach out to your final customer. Additionally, I also acquired new knowledge on the Canadian market for rules and challenges for new medical devices and how to overcome barriers in the sales process. Lastly, the ethics module challenges you to develop critical thinking and shows you that sometimes the answer is not straight forward, and sales professionals need to master such skills to further progress in their career. I would recommend this course for everyone that is entering the medical sales field in order to lay a basic foundation of the healthcare system in Canada and how to achieve excellence in sales.
